Ships Clean is an AI automation and software consultancy based in Pittsburgh, PA. We build custom software for businesses that need it but are too small to staff an in-house IT or engineering team: the dashboards, the forms, the automations, and the connections between the tools you already use.

Most small businesses run on a stack of good software with manual copy-paste steps wedged between each piece. Someone re-keys an order, someone chases a status, someone reconciles two reports by hand every night. That work is invisible until the person who does it is out. We replace those steps with software that runs on its own and tells you when it needs attention.

How we work

Every engagement follows the same path: we map the actual workflow, build in short weekly iterations against your real data, set up monitoring and alerting before launch, and hand off a system you own. You see working software early, not a deck. We agree on scope in writing, and we cut scope before we cut quality.

The part most builders skip is the one we insist on: handoff. We write run docs, transfer the code and credentials, and walk your team through operating the system. You hold the keys. We stay reachable, but you are never dependent on us.
